Vena Cava

The vena cava is an intersting comparison to the aorta slide. In it, we can observe a thin tunica media compared to the aorta. The elastic tissue is also bunched up between the tunica intima and media. The vena cava also has a really thick tunica externa compared to the aorta. However, similar to the aorta, you can observe vasa vasorium in the tunica externa.
