Lab 3 Tissue

Part 1 Observing epithelial and conenctive tissue

In lab 3 we look at connective and epithelial tissue. Students typically look at 7 examples of epithelial tissue and 7 examples of connective tissue. When you go to the page for the tissue type, you will be given a video explaining how the different types of each tissue. Then there are links to examples of each tissue. Go to each type of epithelial and connective tissue. Observe the student slides and compare them to the slide in your lab book. Then draw one of each type epithelial and each type of connecive tissue.

Followup

At the end of lab 3, I normally lay out pictures of the different histology slides to check the understanding of the students in the class. We cannot do that in this format. Therefore, I have created 2 pages that have pictures of the different tissues; one page for connective tissue and the other for epithelial tissue. Go to each page. Drag the picture in the box ABOVE the name of the tissue. Check your answer, screen shot it and then upload to Canvas. Note, I also want you to try page 21 of the lab book too and upload it with these screen shots.

The reason to do this activity is for the test, I will give you a picture of the tissue and ask you for the specific type.
