MALT or Mucosa associated lymphatic tissue is found all over the body. The model below shows the histolog
of the small intestines that have a lt of this tissue in patches of lymph nodules called Peyer's Patches.
Also of note is the special lymph capillaries called lacteals.
These vessels absorb lipids and as a result the lymph is a milky white.
