Brachial Plexus

Lab quiz 8 will be on the spine, the PNS and the ANS. There will be some overlap on the models. Below is a picture of the cervical and thoracic regions of the body. For this picture, we will focus on the brachial plexus and the nerves that come off of it.
Identify the trunks, cords, and terminal nerves of the brachial plexus. For the brachial plexus, you may also want to see the cervical spine model. I think it does a better job on the cords and trunks. However,I like this model because you can trace things from the roots all the way down to the terminal nerves. Pay attention to how the nerves merge, split and then twist around. Also note that the regions of the spine on this model are found on another page. regions. Also be sure to see the Lumbo-sacral plexus page as well.
