Lab quiz 9 will be on the special senses and the endocrine organs. The picture below is of the tongue. I like it because it gives you a close up of the taste bud where you can clearly ee the different structures. 7 and 8 are hiding towards the top of the taste bud. It was hard to find a color that contrasted. Try to identify the structures. When done, be sure to see the cochlea, retina, and nasal epithelium models.
