We will be using this page for two parts of today's lecture.

For the first part of today's lecture, I want you to watch the spinal curvatures video. In lab 1 we learned the cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacral regions of the spine. We will now look at which parts have anterior curvatures (curves to the front) and which have posterior curvatures (curves to the back). Watch the video. Then enlarge the model and rotate it so you can see the curvatures. Then answer the questions at the bottom. (You'll have to screen shot and label ribs later so maybe do 1 screen shot with everything.)

We will also look at the ribs and sternum. I want you to watch the video. Then see how many pairs of ribs have their own attachment (true ribs), how many share an attachment point (false ribs) and how many lack attachment (also false ribs but floating ribs too). Then I want you to screen shot and label the true, false, and floating ribs. Also label the manubrium, body, and xiphoid process for the sternum.

If you want to do just 1 screen shot with everything, that is fine.
