Anterior
- Coracoid process - Process pointing laterally above, and anterior to, the glenoid fossa.
- Glenoid fossa- indentation on the lateral side of scapula. Best seen from lateral side
- Inferior Angle - triangle shape on the inferior end
- Lateral border- oblique border going from inferior angle to glenoid fossa
- Medial Border - long straight border going from superior angle to inferior angle.
- ubscapular fossa - indentation made on most of the anterior surface.
- Superior Angle - triangle shape on the superior end

Posterior
- Acromion or acromial process - process on the lateral end of spine.
- Glenoid fossa- indentation on the lateral side of scapula under 2 processes. Best seen from lateral side
- Inferior Angle - triangle shape on the inferior end
- Infraspinous fossa - Indentation below spine. Best seen from medal side.
- Lateral border- oblique border going from inferior angle to glenoid fossa
- Medial Border - long straight border going from superior angle to inferior angle.
- Spine - ridge projecting to the posterior about one third the way down.
- Superior Angle - triangle shape on the superior end
- Supraspinous Fossa - Indentation above spine Best seen from medial side.
