On your second lab quiz, I will ask you about supporting connective tissue using both these models and on histology slides. Try to guess what the numbers are pointing to. Then move your mouse over to see if you are correct.

This model shows a cross section of compact bone. I like it because you can see all the lamellae and get an idea that new bone is constantly replacing old bone. It also shows you the periosteum and endosteum.
