Long Bone model

On your second lab quiz, I will be using both these models and histology slides. Try to guess what the numbers are pointing to. Then move your mouse over to see if you are correct. 1 is the entire green area and 2 is the entire blue area. I had trouble doing the lines. There is no metaphysis which is defined as the junction of the diaphysis and epiphysis. There is an epiphyseal line, however, it is found in the head of the femur. Therefore it would be incorrect to call it the metaphysis.
