Your third lab quiz will be on the axial skeleton. Expect 10 skull questions and 10 questions for the rest. For the different types of vertebrae, you will be expected to know the specific type (Atlas, axis, cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum) and the landmarks.


Below is the sacrum (and not a dragon's head). Try to identify the landmarks. I left off the auricular surface because it is more lateral and I didn't think you could see it. I also left off the sacral canal. Again, I didn't think you could see it. . When done, be sure to do the atlas/axis, the cervical, the thoracic, and the lumbar pages.
